Description
Pete Hammond, Jr. (Tony Curtis) is a sax player from Milwaukee with plans to make it as a jazz musician in New York City. Peggy Brown (Debbie Reynolds) is a cash-strapped taxi dancer already burnt out by the Big Apple. Pete let's Peggy stay with him, but what starts out as a purely platonic living arrangement slowly turns into much more as they stand by each other through life's ups and downs.
