The most famous virtuoso of the theater organ in the modern age, George Wright was in constant demand during the 1940's, 50's and 60's, playing to sold out audiences in some of the grandest venues from around the world. His legendary performances on the huge Wurlitzer Theater pipe organ continue to inspire organists in all genres of music. This vintage 1959 audiophile recording contains many classic performances and features songs made popular during a time when the Charleston was the biggest dance hit, the roaring 1920's. All selections newly remastered.
