Description
(2-CD set) Big Neighborhood continues to explore their unique blend of genre, texture and dynamics with this set of all original music. Although thoroughly steeped in the jazz tradition, Big Neighborhood's compositions and improvising gives them a voice of their own that rewards casual and careful listeners alike. An excellent example of early-21st century acoustic jazz." "Big Neighborhood weaves an upbeat but hard to categorize geometrical tapestry with odd meters and buoyant rhythms.""
