Musically tighter and more introspective than it's predecessor Lonely House, Flying shows Grammatrain evolving beyond grunge into a more experimental, emotionally raw sound-balancing heavy guitars with Beatles-esque melodies and progressive textures. From the fierce "This Is" to the haunting "Pain" and the moody anthem "Peace," this 1997 album cemented their legacy as one of Christian rock's most authentic voices.
