Recorded at Los Angeles' Record Plant in the summer of 1984 and produced/co-produced by frontman Blackie Lawless and Shrapnel Records founder Mike Varney respectively, W.A.S.P. was the first, and remains one of the finest, examples of a band with little regard for the rules, an outlaw attitude and the razor-sharp music to back it all up.
