Ponte Pilas Debut Album marks the transition into adulthood, the steps away from the carefree younger days towards a perhaps duller but more fulfilling future. Some songs pick up on the more youthful side, talking about the wild twenties, some are a little further along in the process of growing up. The general album mood lies somewhere between Arctic Monkeys, The Vices and Mac DeMarco. The Focus Track "Rue Britannia" is a calmer one and is about the political situation in the UK after Brexit.
