Description
What do you get when a three-time world champion jazz pianist teams up with a Grammy-winning drummer? A modern classic and one heck of a Two Man Job!" Following the phenomenal success of their first duet CD, "The Ones We Love," pianist Brian Holland and drummer Danny Coots have returned to the studio to cut an album of hot ragtime, stride, boogie-woogie, blues, and jazz that-dare we say it-is even better than their first! With favorites like Juan Tizol's "Caravan," Vince Guaraldi's "Christmas Time Is Here" (known to generations from "A Charlie Brown Christmas"), Scott Joplin's "Solace," and Roy Orbison's "Blue Bayou," Holland and Coots take you on a musical journey that radiates joyful ebullience one moment and wistful lyricism the next. Try it, you'll like it! 14 tracks, 63 minutes with 12-page illustrated booklet."
