Description
Released in 1975, First Cuckoo is a jazz-funk masterclass that blends Eumir Deodato's sleek orchestral arrangements with gritty, groove-heavy interpretations of classics like Led Zeppelin's Black Dog." The album stands out for it's fusion of high-brow classical influences and street-level disco rhythms, anchored by the legendary session work of drummer Steve Gadd and guitarist John Tropea."
