Description
The album inUnity, Contemporary Music from Gdansk, Vol. 3 is already the third album presenting the achievements of the Gdansk composers' milieu. The latest pieces, written over the last few years, show the current condition of the creators, the paths they follow, and the directions of their musical development. An attentive listener will also find a harbinger of their future achievements, for the time being perceived only as a labyrinth of possibilities. The material gathered on the album brings to mind the principle of unity in diversity. The unity of the Gdansk milieu, whose strength lies in the diversity of compositional attitudes. The works of composers of different generations, experience, and various creative choices create an array of possibilities enchanting with the richness of musical explorations.
