Nagisa Ni Te's 1999 third album stands as the most unique release in the band's history, a double-album masterpiece that remains a secret favorite among many fans who cherish the original LP version from Org Records.The motivation behind this recording was to explore whether the concept Shibayama tested with Hallelujahs-pursuing the inherent one-time nature and improvisational quality of performance within the format of pre-written compositions-could also be effective in a fixed band format rather than a session setting, and what form that might take.While the raw concept inevitably creates some dissonance in the punk-infused playing and vocals, the sheer momentum of this wild band captured in such high fidelity is rare among Japanese rock bands.
