Description
Carlos Niño (Build An Ark) and Jesse Peterson deliver an outstanding folk album of stunning songs and memorable instrumentals. A beautiful trip recorded over two years and spanning the realms of folk, experimental, soulful California groove, and psychedelia, Turn on the Sunlight" is an explorative journey through sound and feeling. "Turn on the Sunlight" is unlike any other project that Ni-ño has been involved in before and with the profound instrumental talents of Peterson they are sure to garner enthusiastic support. The two sing and play a variety of instruments on this expansive, heartfelt release, which, without making too grandiose a comparison, could be described as a dream state where John Fahey and Brian Eno make music about the ocean, the stars and love."
