(and beyond) music scene for two decades, introduced his Silt Trio with their debut on Cuneiform, The Bottom, and one year after their Pi Recordings follow-up, Unknown Rivers, the band returns in a expanded format!- In addition to returning members, prominent drum legend Chad Taylor and powerhouse DC saxophonist Brian Settles, the group has opened up to include Baltimore multi-reed and percussion instrumentalist Jamal Moore as well as the celebrated saxophone and trumpet free-jazz master, Daniel Carter. - The mood for the album... is characterized by it's delicacy and sense of space. - The Wire""
