The Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine implements a non abrasive method of cleaning that relies on ultrasonic vibration to extract dirt, dust and residue from the grooves of your records.

This is ideal for small to medium-size record collections or in a situation where you don't have a large batch of records to do at once.

Using a process known as cavitation, micron-size bubbles form and are subjected to alternating pressure waves and continue to grow until they reach resonant size and implode. The implosion event, when it occurs near a record’s grooves, changes the bubble into a high speed jet about one-tenth the bubble size. The jet frees contaminants from their bonds with the grooves. Because of the inherently small size of the jet and the relatively large energy, ultrasonic cleaning can remove entrapped dirt particles very effectively. With the special solution, the records can drain dry.

One 2L bottle of concentrate makes 7L with 5L of filtered water (see correct ratio for this machine above). About 3-4 minutes per batch is sufficient.

For visible dirt on your discs we recommend pre-cleaning with Real Groovy Record Cleaner and a velvet brush, and rinsing off under tap water. That will ensure that the ultrasonic solution stays clean and your records dry residue free. We recommend Real Groovy Record Rinse in the ultrasonic tank. Remember to use new inner sleeves on the cleaned discs.
