Already broken

Alberta born Toronto resident, Anthony Rankin Wilson, records 8 original tunes (plus a cover of the traditional Motherless Child with new eco-lyrics by Anthony) with gifted producer/guitar player, Oliver Johnson, and some of the city's finest roots/folk musicians...AND his two daughters, Layah Jane (another CD Baby artist) and Sasha Rose... Already Broken is intimate and personal...with biting environmental and social commentary...and a groove...may conjure Mark Knopfler meets Leonard Cohen meets Bruce Cockburn... Extended soulful journeys, the songs ask something of the listener and return a richly textured soundscape for these troubled times... Soothing in it's depth, Already Broken will grow roots in your music collection and reveal yourself to you over and over again. ..first listeners describe Already Broken as a 'sonic masterpiece' with 'drop dead gorgeous arrangements'. And 10% of all sales will be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation, 'a registered Canadian charity working through science to protect the diversity of nature and our quality of life, now and for future genereations.'
